On Monday, UK auctioneer Cheffins held its first farm dispersal auction since the start of the lockdown. It was the company’s first totally online auction. It was held on behalf of a client in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
A 2010-registered 7930 Autopowr model with only 1,912 hours on the clock was the star of the show. On the farm from new, the Greenstar-ready tractor was fitted with front suspension and a 1,150kg front weight. It was shod on 650/85R38 and 600/70R30 Michelin Mach X Bib tyres. Bidding finished up at £90,562.50 (€101,224).
The second highlight was also green, a 2002 John Deere 6920S which sold for £42,176.25 (€47,172). This 40km/h PowerQuad had just over 3,200 hours on the clock. It was fitted with front and rear cab suspension, and was shod on 650/65R38 and 540/65R30 Trelleborg tyres. The tractor was also on farm from new.
