The new JD5 and JD8 engines are said to be the latest edition to the Next Generation Engine (NGE) lineup.

The smaller of the two, the JD5 offers a 5l displacement and powers ranging from 125hp to 268hp (93-200kW) while the larger JD8 unit will offer a 7.5l displacement and a power range from 250hp to 389hp (187-290kW). Both engines are compatible with renewable diesel, and integrating battery technology.

Launch of the JD8 isn’t expected until 2029, which will then be followed by the JD5.

JDPS is also showed its latest Kreisel batteries which are set to enter production later this year.

These batteries utilise Dynamic Performance Management, which combines patented cell immersion cooling technology with advanced software systems to improve performance.

The modular design of the battery solutions allows for multipack configurations, enabling stacking and flexible orientation to suit a wide range of off-highway machines.

New stationary and mobile charging options are also in development.
