John Deere and Kuhn teamed up to set a new world record for raking grass. The duo managed to rake 188.9ha across four fields in eight hours.

The record was set using a John Deere 6250R tractor equipped with a Kuhn four-rotor Gyrorake GA 15131 with a working width of 14.7m.

Validation

The world record was set on a dairy farm in the Central Jutland region of Denmark.

The DLG Test Centre validated the record after carrying out several spot measurements during the attempt. The rake clocked in an average output of 23.6ha per hour.

Using John Deere’s AutoTrac guidance system and IsoBus, the 6250R achieved a maximum operating speed of 22km/h.
