We refer to the recent advertisement by IFA on 20 March under the heading, “Lidl and Aldi, Did You Know?” South East Milk Producers is a group of dairy farmers from family farms in the southeast of Ireland that supplies milk to Strathroy Dairy, one of the main suppliers of milk to Lidl and Aldi stores across Ireland.
Our milk is processed in Omagh, Co Tyrone, and supplied to Lidl and Aldi stores across Ireland. We are very disappointed to see our milk being characterised as not being from the Republic of Ireland. We fully reject this assertion and call upon the IFA to remove and retract their advertisement.
