The Irish Farmers Journal understands that LIC Automation, New Zealand’s Livestock Improvement Corporation, which markets the SABER brand of cow drafting, heat detection aids and other equipment, is pulling out of sales into Ireland and the UK.

In correspondence seen by the Irish Farmers Journal between Irish farmers and Wayne McNee, chief executive of Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) it is suggested the board of LIC took the decision to no longer sell automation products into Ireland and the UK as it was unprofitable.

However, we understand that LIC is committed to continuing to service and support existing customers.
