Tonight is likely to be cloudy and misty, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, persistent and heavy at times across the southwest and west. According to Met Éireann, further east will be mostly dry, with just the odd patch of drizzle. A few fog patches will also form during the night. It will be mild with lowest temperatures of 10°C to 12°C.

Tomorrow morning will see a wet and rather blustery start in the west and southwest, with spot flooding possible. Further east there will be a good deal of dry weather to start the day.

The rain in the west will slowly spread eastwards through the course of the afternoon but it will turn more scattered. Some parts of the east will stay dry until evening time. Brighter weather will extend from the west later as the rain clears. Mild, with highs of 12°C to 14°C.
