As another week of harvest 2021 passes, frustration is beginning to grow amongst farmers due to the continued broken weather.
Showery and poor weather over the past week has limited harvest progress in most areas. With many crops, including winter wheat, spring barley and oats now ripe, settled weather is now badly needed.
While many growers have been able to make some harvest progress, this is location specific.

This week the Irish Farmers Journal tillage team gave a round of all of the harvest action from the past seven days while also touching on grain prices and winter oilseed rape drilling.
