Truly Grass Fed butter is now available on shop shelves in the US.
A Glanbia spokesperson told the Irish Farmers Journal: “It is positioned as a natural premium brand for the market and is priced accordingly.”
The butter is priced at US$4.99 (€4.47).
It was launched in the US on a phased basis in the summer.
The Truly Grass Fed brand has been a source of tension for the board of Ornua, as it puts Glanbia in direct competition with Ornua’s Kerrygold brand.
