The UCD school of agriculture and food science will return once again to this year’s Ploughing (Block 4, Row 18, Stand 396). As one of the only universities in Ireland with a school devoted to agriculture and food science, a visit to this stand is a must for any student considering a career in agriculture, food science or human nutrition.

UCD offers 12 undergraduate programmes and staff will be available over the three days to discuss the wide range of degree options available.

If you are a graduate considering further study, you can learn more about their graduate programmes and the exciting agri-food research projects that are currently taking place.

With so many career opportunities available to graduates, UCD is inviting alumni to contribute to video testimonials that will give an insight to prospective students on the wide range of career paths open to them.

Visitors can hear about the latest developments taking place in research and innovation with the launch of the research seminar series for the coming year.

You can also participate in food experiments or join the school in celebrating its most recent award, the “Athena Swan Bronze Award” for gender equality.
