Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rain alert for Donegal, Cavan, Clare, Kerry and Connacht. The warning will come into effect from 2pm Monday 23 November.
Heavy rain during the day Monday, overnight, and continuing into Tuesday may cause some river and localised flooding.
The warning is valid until 2pm Tuesday 24 November.
