Management notes

Adam Woods takes a look at grass supplies on beef farms, castration and a recent withdrawal change on dosing products.

In dairy, Aidan Brennan takes a look at breeding, fertiliser and calmag. The AM/PM rule needs to be implemented when using sexed semen.

In sheep, close attention should be paid to creep-feeding decisions as costs can quickly escalate.

And in tillage, this would appear to be an appropriate time to get good spring weather for planting and the management of winter crops.
