Dwindling feed supplies are affecting milk supplies in the southeast of Ireland.

A significant east versus west divide has opened up on milk supply in July. Milk supplies are well back for the two biggest processors in the east and south of the country, Glanbia and Dairygold.
Meanwhile, in complete contrast, Lakeland and Aurivo report significant increases in July milk supply.
Glanbia estimates that July volumes are back by about 2%, while Dairygold estimates that July volumes are back 3%.

Arrabawn and Tipperary Co-op estimates for July are also back by 2% for July 2018 compared with the same month in 2017.
Lakeland suggests July volumes are up 5% for the same period, while Aurivo figures show they are up 4% for July. In between these co-ops, LacPatrick reports it is up 2% for July. Kerry reports it is back 1%, while the west Cork co-ops suggest they are ahead by about 1% for July.
