Glanbia is holding clinics this week to help farmers deal with the effects of the late spring. The clinics are being held at Glanbia Ireland branches from 11am to 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Due to a shortage of quality forage, recent days have seen a sharp drop in the average protein content of milk deliveries," Glanbia said in a statement. "Based on the weather forecast, grass growth is expected to remain low for another two to three weeks."
