Tipperary co-op has cut 1c/l off its February price, bringing its base March milk price to approximately 23.2c/l excluding VAT.
The majority of processors have now cut their milk price by 1c/l to 2c/l this month.
Carbery joined Kerry and LacPatrick in holding their March price.

Dairy commodity markets have sent mixed signals to processors in the past week, with the Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction showing a 3.8% rise in prices while Ornua’s Purchase Price Index (PPI) fell for the 12th consecutive month.
French processor Danone has released its outlook for the rest of this year, saying it expects the cost of raw materials including milk to trend upwards over the course of 2016. It added that lower milk prices in Europe and the US in the first half of the year should “edge up” or rebound in the second half of 2016.
