Ballyhoura Macra is hosting a table quiz on Friday 4 December in the Corner House, Shanballymore, at 9pm.
The public speaking and impromptu public speaking finals are taking place on Saturday 5 December in Scartaglen Hall, Kerry, hosted by Kerry Macra. Niall Flahive is the presiding officer. Sign-in will be from 7pm to 7.30pm for those taking part. Photos will also take place at this time. Teams competing in the competition are Hill 16 Macra, Dublin; Millstreet Macra, Muskerry, Cork; Awbeg Macra, Avondhu, Cork; and Termonfeckin Macra, Louth. Competitors in the impromptu speaking competition are Thomas Duffy, Ramor Macra, Cavan; Jenny Murphy, Glanmire Macra, Seandun, Cork; Thomas Stitch, Freemount Macra, Avondhu, Cork; Richard Fleming, North County Macra, Dublin; Teresa Brennan, East Laois Macra; and Mairead Scanlon, Dungarvan Macra, Waterford.
The NDC indoor soccer final will take place on Sunday 6 December in Gormanston College, Co Meath. Sign-in for men is 10am to 10.30am. Sign-in for women is 11.30am to 12pm The presiding officer is Grainne O’Reilly. Photos will take place at sign-in.
