Many years have rolled by since Gloria enjoyed one of the biggest ever success in the Irish charts with her single One Day at A Time. The Meath lady has revived her career in recent times and is proving popular around the country.

Trudi Lalor has released a new single called Thank You. It is an original up-tempo country gospel song written by Billy Morrissey. The song is taken from her new album which is due out in April.

John McIntyre from Cootehill has released a fine album called Brass Roots. John was a member of Gerry Black and The Seasons band back in the 1970s. He fulfilled a long-held ambition by recording this album. It features country and trad classics performed on the saxophone.

Kenneth Neely is a young singer from Dungiven, Co Derry. His new single, Best You’ll Do Tonight, is taken from his forthcoming album. Kenny will be among the performers at a special show in The Mayfly Inn, Kesh, Fermanagh, on 26 February, along with Aisling McCabe, Alastair Coyles and many others.

Connemara singer Nan Tom Táimín is putting the finishing touches to her new album which is due out at the end of this month. Nan is a terrific country and sean nós singer.

Pat McKenna from Maghera is picking up substantial airplay with his new release, Who Hung Out The Stars Over Texas Tonight. This is the follow-up single to his major success last year with The Wind On The Hill.
