Larry Hannon and Dan Buckley have been elected as new board members on the National Milk Agency.

Larry Hannon from Co Kildare replaces Denis Fagan and Dan Buckley from Co Cork takes over from Teddy Cashman.

The National Milk Agency was set up to regulate the supply of milk for liquid consumption, the board is made up of producer, retailer, distributor and consumer representatives.

Those seeking election must first be nominated by 20 liquid milk suppliers from their constituency.

The term is three years and it usually involves five meetings a year.
