Up to 600 new and second-hand machines are entered in the first-ever FTMTA no-reserve machinery auction on Saturday 30 September.

The auction at Punchestown Event Centre will feature everything from a pick-up hitch, right up to a 2002 Claas self-propelled forage harvester.

Among the machines listed are a 2014 New Holland T7.185, a 2015 Redrock trailer and a 2013 New Holland T7.210 4WD tractor, as well as 40 new, ex-demo and used PÖttinger grass machines. Bidders from across Ireland will be joined by potential buyers from France, Germany, eastern Europe and Africa, given the range of machinery on offer.

The collections of almost-new PÖttinger grass equipment, and new and ex-demo Claydon strip-till drills, are expected to garner a lot of interest.

Tractors will be sold in a drive-through auction in ring one from 11am, while the second ring will begin selling equipment from 11.30am.

Commission rates range from 2.5% to 10% depending on the value of the item purchased.
