Weather forecast

A status yellow drought warning remains in place for Leinster and Munster, but there will some relief from the scorching conditions with a mostly cloudy day forecast in the two provinces this Friday. Met Éireann is forecasting outbreaks of rain in the east in the morning, followed by drier conditions and sunnier breaks further northwest later on. Highest temperatures will range between 18°C and 21°C, dropping to 10-14°C at night in light to moderate northwesterly breezes.
