Balbriggan and Swords-based auctioneer John Cumisky of REA Cumisky is handling the sale of a number of parcels located in the north Co Dublin area.

The standout property being offered for sale by Cumisky is an attractive country house set on c25.5 acres at Clonswords, Ballyboughal, Co Dublin.

The five-bed farmhouse is a period residence that is in superb condition having been renovated to modern standards in recent times. The ground floor comprises a very modern kitchen and dining area, two living rooms, one of which extends onto a large sunroom, and an office.

The second floor comprises the five bedrooms, including the large master bedroom which has a large en suite. Also on the second floor is a comfy bar room which is accessed via a separate staircase in the dining room.

To the rear of the house is an extensive farmyard that includes a large lean-to shed, a five-bay haybarn with lean-to and a two-bay shed adjoining it. Two other farms

John Cumisky is also handling the sale of two other farms that will go for sale by public auction. The first is a c37acre parcel of land situated at Knocknagin, Gormanston, Balbriggan, Co Dublin. This is a unique property in that it has frontage directly onto the Irish Sea.

Currently under tillage, the 37acres is laid out in one large field that contains the ruins of Lowther Lodge and its walled gardens. John Cumisky will offer the farm for sale by public auction on Wednesday 12 October at 4pm in the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan. The farm is guided at €10,000 to €13,000 per acre.

The second property that John Cumisky will bring for auction next month is a 17 acre parcel situated at Kingstown, Lusk, Co Dublin, which includes planning permission for a modern house. The land is laid out in three divisions and according to Cumisky the property would be ideal for those with equine interests.

Cumisky will bring the farm for sale on Thursday 13 October at 4pm in the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan, and is guiding €200,000 for two acres with planning permission and €15,000/acre for the reamining 15 acres.
