Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rain warning for Galway, Mayo, Cork, Kerry and Waterford. The alert comes into effect on Tuesday 10 November at 6pm.

Through Tuesday night and Wednesday, 30mm to 5mm of rain is expected, with higher amounts in mountainous areas. This will lead to flooding in places, along with reduced visibility and hazardous driving conditions.

The warning is expires on Wednesday 11 November at 6pm.
