Dale Farm has confirmed to suppliers that it will include a member payment in the March cheque worth 0.1p/litre on all milk supplied across the 2018/19 milk year.

If that payment is set against the milk just supplied in March, on average, it is worth an additional 1.1p/litre.

However, while members will welcome the payment, Dale Farm has followed the trend set by other NI co-ops and dropped its base price for March milk. Its price now sits at 25.8p/litre, a price which includes a 0.3p/litre loyalty bonus. The base price is down 0.2p/litre on what Dale Farm paid for February milk, and 0.7p/litre behind the January price.
