The Kverneland Group Ireland held its fifth annual Future of Farming Expo at the Hub, Cillin Hill, Kilkenny, on Thursday.

All the latest developments from Kverneland, Vicon, Siloking and McConnel were on display.

A number of new and updated machines, launched at the recent Agritechnica show in Germany, were showcased for the first time on Irish soil.

Grass equipment

The full Kverneland grass range was on display from mowers, tedders, rakes and balers, including the new 5387MT butterfly conditioner mowers. The firm's 20ft mounted rake, the 9464 model, made its first Irish appearance at the event.

Arable

On the arable side of the house, the renowned Kverneland range of ploughs, the S drill, U drill and E drill were also showcased.

The new Enduro cultivator, DTX subsoiler and the iXtrack T4 trailed sprayer, along with the full Vicon range of fertiliser spreaders, all made an appearance.
