This year marks the 40th birthday of well-known John Deere dealer Meath Farm Machinery, first set up in 1979 by Peter Timmons in Kilberry Cross, Navan.

In more recent times, the business opened its second depot at Poles on the outskirts of Cavan town, now employing over 40 full-time staff.

The business sell the full John Deere agricultural range encompassing tractors, forage harvesters, combines, mowers, balers etc, as well as the Kramer loader range. Meath Farm Machinery are also dealers for SIP, Kuhn, Sulky, Smyth, Tanco and HiSpec product ranges.

The open day on July 12 will kick off at 11am and finish up around 8pm. Discounts on used machinery, filters, oils, lawnmowers as well as selected clothing lines can be availed of on the day.
