DAERA has announced that the Single Application service for 2018 is now open, with the deadline for all applications and supporting evidence of 15 May 2018.

DAERA will not be issuing paper versions of the Single Application Form (SAF) this year.

The service is used to claim various schemes including the basic payment scheme and greening, the young farmers’ payment, environmental farming scheme agreements and the NI countryside management scheme.

Farmers must also use the Single Application and Maps Service to inform DAERA about any changes to land. This cannot be done on paper.

Support is available by calling the SAF Advisory Service on 0300 200 7848 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) or using the webchat facility within the application.

There will also be a series of ‘‘How to Complete your Single Application’’ workshops in Enniskillen, Cookstown and Antrim in the coming weeks.

To book a place, call 02871 319955.
