I see current Coillte CEO Imelda Hurley has been elected as Ibec president for 2022 to 2023.
Hurley brings a tinge of agri-food in her experience, having previously been executive director and CFO with agri-services group Origin Enterprises, prior to joining Coillte.
She says she will use her tenure to support Irish business’ contribution to Ireland’s climate targets and the transition to a low carbon economy. I hope she keeps an eye to farmer businesses in that work.
