The successful buyer was an accountant acting for a local landowner.

This parcel of land was mostly in stubble. “There was plenty of interest but the bidding came down to two main contenders at the online auction,” auctioneer Bobby Kehoe said. “The property was sold for €370,000, equal to just over €10,000/ac.”
The buyer is believed to be a local farmer.
