Speakers include:
Neil Fuller - a soils specialist.
Tommy Heffernan - a vet and gut health specialist.
Jason Monaghan - a hedgerow specialist with the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
Pat Collins - a talk on reseeding.
Leslie Dwyer - a talk on reducing nitrogen use for profitable sustainable farming.
Speaking to BASE Ireland chair Rob Coleman earlier this summer, he said BASE Ireland is a group where members learn from other members.
One farmer will try something and it might give someone else the confidence to try it as well or they might find out that the practice didn’t work for them.
BASE allows farmers to discuss what is working and not working on farms.
