Friday

Friday morning will start off cloudy and damp over Leinster and Munster with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle, but Met Éireann has said it will be brighter and drier elsewhere with just the odd shower.

The rain in the east and south will clear southeastwards later on Friday morning but may linger near southeastern coasts.

It is forecast to turn cooler in the light to moderate northerly breeze, with top temperatures reaching just 9°C to 11°C.

Met Éireann has said that Friday night will be mostly dry with just a few patches of rain or drizzle in the southeast and isolated showers in the west and north.

There will be broken cloud at first, but good clear spells look set to develop. Temperatures will fall to between 2°C and 6°C, leading to some grass frost, especially in the north and northwest.

Winds will be light to moderate north the northwesterly but fresh along south and southeast coasts.

Saturday

Saturday will be a cool, sunny and mostly dry day with some scattered showers, with light to moderate north to northwesterly breezes but fresh near coasts.

Top temperatures will reach just 9°C to 12°C.

Saturday night is forecast to be mostly dry with good clear spells. However, it will become cloudy in the northwest with patchy rain or drizzle towards morning.

It will be a cold night as lowest temperatures fall to between 1°C and 5°C with grass frost, especially in the east and south.

Sunday

A breezy, cloudy day is forecast on Sunday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle affecting the west and north and parts of the east and south may stay mostly dry for the day.

Top temperatures will range between 12°C to 15°C in a fresh and blustery southwesterly wind.

It will stay cloudy, mild and breezy on Sunday night with further rain in the west and north and some patchy rain or drizzle elsewhere, with lowest temperatures of 7°C to 11°C.
