Friday

Met Éireann forecasts a dry and mostly sunny day for Friday, with patches of fog clearing during the morning. Temperatures will range between 16°C and 21°C, in moderate northeasterly breezes.

Friday night will remain dry, with mostly clear skies. A few mist or fog patches may form in the west and north. Lowest temperatures of 9°C to 12°C.

Saturday

Another dry day is expected on Saturday, with good sunshine in many areas. Top temperatures of 15°C to 19°C in fresh northeast breezes and coolest along the Irish Sea coast.

By night, it will be dry and mostly clear with a few pockets of mist or fog. Lowest temperatures of 7°C to 10°C in mostly light northeast winds.

Sunday

Showers are possible in the northwest on Sunday, with an otherwise dry day across the country. Mist or fog will clear by morning, leaving long sunny spells in most regions. Highest temperatures of 16°C to 19°C.

Staying dry on Sunday night, with clear spells, along with mist and fog developing in light winds. A cool night is expected, with lowest temperatures of 6°C to 9°C.

Week ahead

A dry start to next week, although it is expected to turn more unsettled by midweek, with rain at times and blustery winds.
