Friday

According to Met Éireann, Friday will start off dry in the east with outbreaks of rain elsewhere. Rain will clear slowly through the late afternoon and evening giving way to fresher conditions. Highest temperatures will range from 20°C to 23°C in the east with 17°C to 19°C elsewhere.

Friday night will be dry and largely clear with mist and fog patches developing. Temperatures will be cooler than recent nights with lows of 8°C to 11°C.

Saturday

Saturday will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Light easterly breezes are expected with top temperatures between 20°C and 23°C.

By night, Saturday will be dry and clear with lows of 10°C to 12°C. A few isolated mist patches may occur.

Sunday

Sunday will feature a mix of cloud and sunny spells with warm afternoon highs generally between 20°C and 24°C. Sunday night will be mainly dry also, apart from an isolated light shower along eastern coasts. Lowest temperatures will range from 11°C to 14°C.

Week ahead

Current indications show increasing amounts of cloud and showery outbreaks of rain are ahead. Showers will be most frequent in the east with a chance of a thundery burst. Maximum temperature will range from 19°C to 22°C.
