The new Hardi Aeon trailed sprayer will sit above the Navigator and Commander models as the new flagship machine when it becomes available.

The Aeon moves away from Hardi’s traditional manual setup to a full electric system, with its new WorkZone control terminal controlling all of the sprayer’s functions. The terminal above the induction hopper controls all filling and washing functions, making the process easier, according to the firm.

The sprayer’s 5,200l tank has been developed to optimise balance while on the move. Hydraulic suspension is added to the centre of the axle and a suspended drawbar reduces movement transferred to the tractor. Initially only one tank size will be available but it’s likely larger models will follow.

Hardi’s cloud service allows for direct access to field data which can be transferred to and from the machine wirelessly.

The Aeon comes as standard with 36m Delta Force steel booms with individual nozzle control. Other features include turning mudguards that follow the steering axle’s position and an electronic transport lock on its ParaLift system.
