Aurivo will pay a base milk price of 28.93c/l excluding VAT for February supplies, it announced on Friday. This price is unchanged from January.
When the unconditional early calving bonus of 1.5c/l is added to the price, it brings it up to 30.36c/l, excluding VAT.
Market conditions
An Aurivo spokesperson said that the board of Aurivo will continue to monitor market conditions carefully in the coming months.
Before Aurivo had set a price, two out of three processors had cut milk prices for February supplies.
Kerry cut its price by 1c/l and Glanbia suppliers will receive 0.5c/l less than they did in January.
Lakeland held its price at 30.4c/l excluding VAT, but cut by 0.75p/l in the North.
