Fat cows sold from 170p to 201p/kg, depending on quality, with feeding cows making 125p to 150p/kg.

Store heifers sold to £1,445 for a 660kg animal. Heavy lots sold from £1,215 up to £1,395.

Short-keep heifers sold from £1,100 to £1,180, with lighter types selling from £600 to £1,000, depending on weight and quality.

Bullocks sold to a top price of £1,390 for a 680kg Limousin animal, with heavy lots mostly making £1,220 to £1,375 for continental and Angus types.

Mid-weight stores sold from £1,000 to £1,185, with lighter types selling from £695 to £940.

Calves

Bull calves sold to £450 for a Simmental, with Belgian Blue calves selling to £385. Hereford bull calves made £350, with Limousin calves also peaking at £350.

Angus calves sold to £335, with Montbelliarde calves making £285. Friesian calves sold to £200.

Sheep

Hoggets sold to 122.50 for a pen of 26kg sheep, with £118 to £120 paid on several occasions for hoggets weighing 22.5kg to 26.5kg. Fat ewes made £100.
