Bobcat is entering the European wheel loader market for compact wheel loaders and small articulated loaders.

Currently, Bobcat’s European lineup is based on skid-steers, compact track loaders, mini-track loaders and telescopic Loaders. Now, Bobcat is extending the range with compact wheel loaders and small articulated loaders.

Bobcat is entering the wheel loader market with two models: the L65 and L85. Designed and built at Bobcat’s base in the Czech Republic, the L65 and L85 weigh in at 4.5t and 4.8t respectively. The L65 has a 55hp engine with a 2.6t tipping load capacity. Meanwhile, the 68hp L85 features a 3.1t load tipping capacity. Both have a maximum travel speed of 30km/h.

Bobcat is also entering the small articulated loader segment with two models: the L23 and L28. Both are designed and built by the company in North Dakota, USA. Weighing in at 1.7t, the smaller 25hp L23 has a tipping load capacity of 1.3t. The larger 1.9t L28 is also powered by the same 25hp engine, but has a slightly larger 1.4t tipping load capacity. Both models have a maximum forward speed of 13km/h.

Bobcat’s Irish importer Adare Machinery has confirmed units from both ranges will be in Ireland for quarter two of next year.

The L23 and L28 are both designed and built by the company in North Dakota, USA.
Weighing in at 1.7t, the smaller 25hp L23 has a tipping load capacity of 1.3t.
