An 81-acre farm near Kilmainhamwood in Meath is being brought to the market by the experienced John Harrington of Smith Harrington, and will take to the floor on 20 November in the agent’s auction room. Speaking with Harrington, there has been interest flowing from across the county’s border, as both Meath and Cavan farmers have enquired about the holding.

The farm

The farm itself is offered in three separate lots. The first lot is an 11-acre parcel of good-quality grassland. The second lot comprises of almost 53 acres and is mixed land, with 20 acres described by Harrington as low-lying. The third lot is 16 acres, while the last lot is the entire.

Overall, circa 60 acres of the farm is good land. The fencing is reasonably good, while there is a water supply to the majority of it.
