The ESB has given €25,000 to Down Syndrome Cork for its Fields of Dreams horticulture project. The project teaches participants to grow their own fruit and veg. Located on three acres on the outskirts of Cork city, the site will include a sensory garden, polytunnels, a therapy room, a market garden for growing farm produce, and prefabs for training. Diarmaid Gavin, the award-winning garden designer, will help with the development.
