Knight Frank recently completed the sale of a 41-acre prime agricultural land holding at Ballyduff Road, Moyne, Co. Tipperary for €595,000 or €14,512/ac. The prime farmland attracted significant interest from dairy, bloodstock and tillage farmers.

The holding was offered by online auction. Following competitive bidding, with 13 bids received, the sale concluded at €595,000, well in excess of the guide price of €495,000.

“The price achieved for the lands and the interest levels prior to the auction demonstrates the strong demand for agricultural lands at present, Knight Frank commented.

“The lands formed part of the wider Lisheen Mine landholding which Knight Frank are instructed to sell. A number of agricultural lots will be offered to the market imminently and we would invite interested parties to register their interest.”

The land holding benefits from being situated in close proximity to both the M7 and M8 motorways, making the lands highly accessible to major arterial routes as well as Dublin, Cork and Limerick. The lands are also close to the towns of Thurles, Templemore and Urlingford.
