Shares in FBD Insurance and Glanbia fell this week on stock markets. Glanbia shares are down 3% in the week to €17.15, while shares in FBD Insurance have dropped almost 4% in the last week to just under €8.90.

On Tuesday this week, FBD announced that group CEO Fiona Muldoon was awarded almost 85,000 shares in FBD, which are valued at €740,000. Muldoon is also in line to receive an additional 40,955 shares in March 2022, which are valued at just under €365,000 based on FBD’s share price of €8.90 today.

Other shares

Elsewhere, shares in IPL Plastics, formerly One51, have shed almost 5% in the past week to C$10.73. A number of the Irish dairy co-ops, including Glanbia, Kerry, Lakeland and Dairygold have shareholdings in the company.

Aryzta shares are down almost 2% this week to €1.22, while shares in agri-services group Origin Enterprises are down 1% to €5.26. Kerry Group shares are up 1% in the week to €97.40.

On oil markets, the price of Brent crude oil has been remarkably steady over recent weeks and is currently trading at just under $68/barrel.
