Lidl Ireland is once again sponsoring the Pride of Ireland awards. The awards will take place in the Mansion House in Dublin this May, hosted by Amanda Byram.
The awards celebrate the heroic people who do extraordinary things in communities throughout Ireland. Lidl is calling on the public to nominate their heroes, the people who stand out in their communities through the work they do. Whether they are foster parents, teachers or coaches, the Pride of Ireland awards wants to acknowledge them.
From now until 20 March, people are urged to nominate the everyday people who inspire them. They can be of any age and from all walks of life. Three finalists will be chosen by the Pride of Ireland judging panel and the public will be asked to vote for the person they think should be crowned Lidl’s Local Hero 2015. The winner will be announced on the night of the event. The biggest names in Irish and British show and sports business will be presenting the awards to the real-life heroes at this glamorous ceremony.
