UK – Tesco grows sales during COVID-19
Tesco, the largest UK food retailer, increased its sales by 8% to £48.8bn (€56.2bn) in the year to February, as its online selling capacity doubled in response to COVID-19.
USA – maize stocks lowest in seven years

The latest supply and demand report from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) cut US maize stocks to their lowest levels in seven years due to a forecast increase in consumption and increased exports.
Australia - predicted milk supply revised downwards
For the 2020/2021 season, Dairy Australia predicts supply to be -1% to +1% compared with last season and finish at between 8.7bn and 8.87bn litres.
Brazil – beef exports
to China increase
Brazil’s beef exports to China for first quarter of 2021 were 187,000t, an increase of almost one third on the same period last year.
