Some 712 farmers have appealed the removal of their lands from the new Areas of Natural Constraints (ANC) scheme.
Their land was deemed to be not disadvantaged enough to remain in the scheme.
The Department is now providing them with full information in relation to the data underpinning the status of the relevant townlands.
