With Met Éireann predicting mostly fine weather for the week ahead, silage outfits will be joined by haybobs in the fields. We are in peak silage harvesting in the west, and crops are bulking up well. Spring cereal crops are approaching their final fungicide application, and beans now need fungicide. The weather forecast suggests good spraying conditions.
