DEAR SIR: I would like to commend Andy Doyle on his article “A spring of discontent”. He seems to be the only person bringing this issue to light. Where are the organisations who are supposed to support the farmer? Big organisations once again are gaining with lower price imports while the farmer is struggling and facing rising costs (fertiliser, diesel etc) once again.
