The new model brings is claimed to include improvements in durability, reliability and comfort.

The obvious changes are to the styling and design. Mitsubishi claims its enhanced 4WD system delivers improved off-road performance and the latest in active safety and driver assistance systems.

The new L200 is expected to be available in Ireland in 2019.

Toyota hybrid pricing

Toyota Ireland has announced pricing for four of its five all new self-charging hybrid cars which are due on the Irish market in January. The Corolla Hatchback hybrid is available from €26,370, and the 1.2 petrol Corolla hatchback is priced from €25,995. Corolla Touring Sports prices start from €28,420. The new Toyota Camry Hybrid will be in Ireland from April 2019 with prices starting from €39,750, while the new generation RAV4 hybrid versions with a bigger 2.5 litre petrol engine, will hit the market with prices starting from €35,900.

Fiat has refreshed its 500X crossover with new LED daytime running lights, LED headlights and rear lights. There is a choice of two body styles, Urban look and Cross look. This new generation 500X is available with next-generation three and four-cylinder turbo petrol engines what Fiat claims are more fuel-efficient than their predecessors.

Entry prices start from €21,795, which is a very marginal increase on the previous model price along with a three years free servicing plan.
