This year’s Teagasc Crops Forum takes place on Thursday 11 September in the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge.

Throw-in is at 2pm and this year’s event will focus on the technical challenges facing farmers in the coming year.

The opening session will feature a review of markets and variety updates for the season ahead.

There will also be a look at rotations and how they might be constructed to cope with the new greening regulations and increasing production costs.

The second session looks at the changes being imposed on growers in the coming season. There will be an update on CAP and the new Greening regulations from Department staff, which bring crop rotation back into focus.
