Tonight will see patchy outbreaks of rain developing across western counties but the eastern half of the country will remain largely dry. Lows of 7-11°C, coolest in the east and north.

According to Met Éireann, Friday will see a dry and bright day in the east and north at first with good sunshine.

However, cloudy and humid conditions with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the south and west will gradually spread over the rest of the country later in the day. Highs of 16 to 20°C.
