Grassland equipment manufacturers across Europe claim that as a result of the higher milk prices in the 2017/2018 calendar year, more dairy farmers and contractors have made the decision to invest in grassland equipment.

For the 2018/2019 season, members of the European Farm Machinery Manufacturers Association (CEMA) product group, expect the market to find a balance with a small decrease of 4%, some of which has been caused by the drought in specific European regions.

They are concerned about the effects of Brexit for business as the UK is the third biggest market in Europe for grassland equipment.
